Database Administrator

Job Summary
As the Database Administrator you will be responsible for the security, integrity and performance of our database. You will ensure all appropriate parties can easily use and access data by creating security policies and measures. You will also play an intregal role in the planning and development of the database that will store all required information.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain, manage and help design SQL database environment to support organizational needs
Work to maintain database performance and optimize database indexes through performance tuning
Implement data security standards, including user permissioning and guide the entitlement review process
Assist with development of ETL processes
Design backup processes for server and associated data
Manage database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
Install new system and application releases as well as test new versions of the database-management system
Interact with data analysts and report developers to provide end-to-end support and problem resolution
Provide detailed analysis, and forecast to align resource requirements to organizational and departmental projects and key strategies
Minimum Requirements
Proficient in the Microsoft Business Intelligence platform, including SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
High school diploma.
2 years professional experience with data warehousing.
Advanced knowledge of database structure and theory.
Proficient in SQL environment.
Working knowledge of database structures and ETL processes.
Ability to work with limited oversight and make informed decisions.
Advanced: 10-Key, Database, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing
Must be bondable.
Preferred Experience
Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area such as programming or data management.
Employment Eligibility
All Lakeland Bank employees must be bondable. FBI background checks are required to confirm eligibility for bonding.
Note: A guilty plea or criminal conviction will not necessarily preclude employment at Lakeland Bank.
Scheduled Hours
Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
