Associate Executive Director 40 Hours (Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm)

Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) is one of the largest Catholic Charities Agencies providing care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the United States. We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Group Homes.
Whats the role of a Associate Executive Director?
Must understand and uphold the philosophy and mission of the Department for Persons with Disabilities, Diocese of Paterson.
Responsible for overseeing client services and supports.
Responsible for assuring and maintaining quality services in the programs of the agency.
Must be able to run the organization in the Executive Directors absence.
Interact with State agencies as designated, including licensing inspections and other inspections/audits.
Must have knowledge of Medicaid fee for service.
Participate in planning and developing new programs.
Must assure all programs comply with government and agency standards of operation.
The Associate Executive Director will cooperate with the agency's administration and/or Division and DHS staff in any inspection or investigation.

Job Requirements:
M.A. in Public Administration, Special Education or related field.
Four (4) years experience in working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; at least one year experience in community residential programs; day program experience considered.
Must have a valid New Jersey Driver's License.

Full Time-Shift: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Flexible, On-Call, Exempt Position. Nights and weekends required as needed to perform the job. On-Call also required.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
