Director of Residential and Community Services

Schedule: Full Time Position-Oak Ridge NJ
Shift: 40 hours per week-Exempt Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, but flexibility is required to meet the needs of the programs. Travel to DPD programs and meetings statewide as requested.

Job Summary: Must understand and uphold the philosophy and mission of the Department for Persons with Disabilities, Diocese of Paterson. Responsible for overseeing client services and supports. Responsible for assuring and maintaining quality services in the programs of the agency. Interact with State Agencies as designated. Participate in planning and developing new programs. Must assure all programs comply with government and agency standards of operation. The Director of Residential and Community Services will cooperate with the agency's administration and/or Division and DHS staff in any inspection or investigation. Ensure all programs are actively documenting data that is accurate and relevant to fee for service environment.
Qualifications: M.A. in Public Administration, Special Education or related field. Ability to speak, read and write English. Four years experience in working with people with developmental disabilities; at least one year experience in community residential programs. Must have a valid New Jersey Driver's License.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
