Assess various situations, trouble-shoot and coordinate repairs/restoration as required for business continuity/resumption and protection of assets. This includes equipment and systems that support the data centers and computer/server rooms such as generators, transfer switch and fuel tanks, HVAC, temp alerts, water detectors, Halon/FM200 Systems, UPS, card access, fire alarms, etc. Respond to and assist with facilities-related emergencies at all Bank locations, including off-site functions both during and after hours as necessary. This includes assessing teh situation, taking corrective action, relaying accurate and detailed information to maintenance/facilities management, as well as the associated outcome and any further action or follow-up required prior to leaving the site. Provide Bank support for Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery Plan(s) as directed by Management. Maintain emergency response equipment (pumps, hoses, portable generators, air movers, dehumidifiers, lighting, etc.) so it is ready to be deployed in the event of an emergency or as situations arise. Perform generator exercises, testing, and inspecttions as required for applicable sites (including set-up, maintenance and operation of portable generators) and schedule, supervise, record fuel deliveries to ensure an adequate fuel supply (topping off generator tanks prior to high risk storms/events). Training will be provided and will then be responsible for compliance with General Air Permits and Spill Protection Control and Countermeasure Plans as well as load bank and transfer switch testing to include completion of applicable reports/documentation and record keeping. Perform regular testing of emergency lighting and exit signs for all facilities with associated documentation and record keeping maintained as required by the Fire Official/AHB. Coordinate repairs as required to maintain proper operation. Inspect interior/exterior lighting signage to ensure proper operation, change bulbs as necessary and coordinate repairs with contractors. Utilize Resource Center or applicable program to retrieve, complete and update Maintenance Requests in a timely manner. Perform quality maintenance tasks and repairs in an efficient, safe and professional manner, leaving each work location in clean condition upon completion of work. Change batteries in thermostats at regularly scheduled intervals, check programs for proper operation and make changes as required. Coordinate repairs with HVAC vendor and Facilities Department as required. Check Corporate Office systems on a daily basis to spot check areas adn trouble-shoot/follow-up on issues or alarms to ensure prompt correction of problems and return system equipment to proper operation. Physically check server room temperatures twice daily, logging results and reporting discrepancies/changes. Perform testing, inspection, maintenance and daily operation of the various building systems. Maintain on-site records of all testing and maintenance as required by the Health Department (DEP) and coordinates with Facilities. Oversees contractors to ensure compliance. Conducts weekly, monthly, annual inspections of AED units. Performs general maintenance tasks, miscellaneous repairs, cleaning and upkeep, and some carpentry. Moves furniture, etc. as necessary. Assists with budget preparation As necessary, provides support/assistance to Mail Clerk, sometimes filling in. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years related experience. Must have working knowledge of HVAC system control and operations of varying complexities, from basic stand-alone thermostats to computerized control systems. Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and safety practices. Power tools, pressure washer, gas powered snow blowers, various building equipment and systems, sump pumps, generators, etc. Must be professional, reliable, well organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter and able to prioritize. Must possess excellent customer service, follow-up and verbal and written communication skills. Requires valid driver's license, good driving record and the ability to operate and maintain Bank vehicle in a safe manner. Must be able to work well independently/unsupervised or as part of a team, make sound decisions based on past experience and common sense, lift a minimum of 75 pounds and climb ladders. Must be bondable, able to participate in the on-call rotation schedule and submit to and pass the annual fit-for-duty physical. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
